Prince Harry And His Wife Are Set To Visit Nigeria In May.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are set to visit Nigeria in May and during their stay in the country, they will be having a meeting with all service members and also hosting an array of cultural activities to celebrate the workers around the world.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are set to visit Nigeria in May. Recall that the prince and his wife Meghan were involved in a neat, catastrophic car chase with paparazzi in New York on May 16, 2023. However, a spokesperson for the couple revealed this on May 17.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Dutchess, and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, will visit Nigeria in May.

The Defence Headquarters’ Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, said in a statement on Monday that during their stay in the country, the couples will meet with all service members and host an array of cultural activities.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games, a multi-sporting event that is set to provide a recovery pathway for all international injured, sick, or wounded servicemen and women.

The Invictus Games had over 500 participants at the just-concluded event last year, in which over 21 nations were in attendance, including Nigeria. Nigeria made a headway with gold and Bronze at its first outing. The event also gives soldiers awareness and recognition in society to support their path to rehabilitation.

“The visit is to consolidate Nigeria’s stronghold at the game and the possibility of hosting the event in later years,”

This statement was made in part, also including that the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, had accepted the offer to host the game when Nigeria was granted the opportunity. Recall that the Minister of Defence was in Germany for last year’s event.
