The National Assembly allocated Ndume a new office and he rejected it.

The Senate Service Committee on Tuesday issued a new office on Tuesday to Senator Ali Ndume of Borno South and he rejected it .

Senator Ali Ndume is of the opinion that his newly appointed office does not fit his position as a high ranking Senator.

His rejection of the new office was disclosed in a letter that was signed by Yati Shuaibu Gawu, his chief confidential Secretary.

It says: “I am directed to inform you that Distinguished Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has rejected the allocation of office number 3.10 by the Committee.

“This is because offices are traditionally allocated on a seniority basis.

“Sen Ndume is the most Senior Senator after Sen Ahmad Lawan and will only occupy an office on the fourth floor.”

This is on the note that Ndume was stripped of his position as the Senate Chief Whip after he had criticised President Bola Tinubu administration.
