Prime Minister Starmer has empowered more police to deal with anti-muslim riot in UK.

The British prime Minister Keir Starmer has spoken up on the measures to be taken to handle the ongoing UK riot. The towns and the cities has recently been aroused to a state of violence after the murder of three young girls who were attendees at the Taylor Swift’s event in Southport.

There’s been a lot of unrest lately, as the rioters are targeting mosques and hostels that house asylum seekers in Africa and in the MiddleEast majorly. Information has it that on Wednesday, immigration centers and law firms that aid immigrants will be destroyed.

Prime Minister Starmer after an emergency meeting with his ministers and police chiefs assured that police will be released in their numbers to handle the situation. He also affirmed that one of their challenges is that most of the protests are from different places which makes it hard to trace them and detain them but that the police have a defence mechanism. 

Also, the British Government has increased the capacity of their prisons because of the large number of people who were arrested during the protest and will also be arrested. 

Prime Minister Starmer said over 400 people have been arrested and 100 have been charged to court waiting to be sentenced.

Currently, Many countries are advising their citizens against travelling to Britain because of the violent protest.

“Anybody involving themselves in this disorder is going to feel the full force of the law”. Prime Minister Starmer said.
