FCT Police officers investigating the death of a Nigeria Cross-dresser.

The federal capital Territory Police command are currently investigating the death of a Nigerian crossdresser who was murdered in Abuja. 

The information about the investigation of crossdresser’s death was related by Officer Josephine Adeh, FCT Police officer in charge of Public relations. In her statement, she said the police got information about the woman’s death one Thursday, and it was described to them that the woman’s body was found in Katampe-Mabushi expressway with bruises on her body which proves that she was beaten to death.

She said, “We received a distress call reporting a corpse found on the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway. Detectives dispatched to the scene discovered the individual was a man dressed in female clothing with no identification.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was a man fully dressed in female clothing with no means of identification on him. He was immediately taken to the Maitama District Hospital where doctors on duty confirmed him dead.“

She concluded, “The Commissioner of Police FCT, Benneth Igweh, has promptly ordered a discreet investigation to find out the circumstances surrounding his death. Updates on this matter will be communicated in due course.”

Some X.com users have been reacting online to the corpse of the deceased, insisting that justice be served. Some personal items belonging to the crossdresser were also found beside his dead body. His body was laying on the floor with blood stains on his face.

“Kai!!! How can people be this wicked?” @Omowumi_Ewatee wrote.

“Taking (the) law into your hand because you don’t like another person’s sexual orientation is the worst form of inhumanity,” @ifijehmartins said.
