Mohammad Javad Zarif , the Vice president of Iran has resigned from office, leaving President Massud Pezeshkian’s cabinet. He resigned 11 days after his appointment.
“I am not satisfied with my work and regret that I have not been able to fulfill expectations,” he said on his X platform
He revealed that he was not satisfied with the selection of the new Ministers
According to Zarif, at least seven of the 19 ministers nominated were not his first choice. He said Seven of the selected ministers were not people he had picked. This is the second crisis for Pezeshkian after he had assumed office. And it is pain-staking.
Pezeshkian presented a list on Sunday after the election but observers feel the list did not match the plans and promises of reform.bit is believed that it was factioned
