Court Orders Halima Abubakar To Pay N10M To Apostle Suleman

Nollywood Actress Halima Abubakar has been constantly spreading false news about Apostle Johnson Suleman,after their brutal clash. The Actress believes that the Apostle is a fake man of God and doesn’t deserve her respect.

In her words;

“Shan, you said you don’t think I am smart? lol, ask Sule. At your big age, I am glad Gistlover sent that list. Thank you gistlover for calling me out. I for dey lie and lie for Sule? Never. God bless you gist lover. But your list is small for real. Johnson try me.

“Supporting you on your lies won’t work again. Anyone who involves his/her self will be tagged a bloodsucker. All of you supporting nonsense. No be Sule again, why do they bleed? They know the truth.

In the heat of this controversy, the Federal high court of Nigeria held her ruling on Monday, 8th of April 2024. After the hearing, Abubakar was ordered to pay the sum of 10 million Naira to Apostle Suleman, the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International to repair any losses that her misconduct has caused.

According to the court’s certified authentic copy of the ruling, Apostle Johnson Suleman accused Halima of making false allegations about him on her Instagram handle which was the source for other social media bloggers to attack him and his ministry.

During the court processing , Halima was quiet, which the case judge in person of Enohie Obanor said she had the opportunity to speak for herself and defend herself from the claims but she rather stayed silent.

Halima Abubakar’s claims towards the clergyman was considered by the federal high court to be nasty and untrue.The statement posted by Halima Abubakar the Nollywood Actress were harmful to the Apostle Suleman statue in the society. So the federal high court ordered Halima to pay N10M to Apostle Johnson Suleman as compensation for the hurts she has caused him.

As exemplary and aggravated damages for libel. Apostle Suleman was given N10,000,000 by the Federal high court.

An Injunction was also placed by the court, forbidding Halima from ever making or publishing any information about Apostle Suleman.
