A Seventeen-year-old Nigerian Boy wins over 14 scholarships to Harvard and other universities worth $3.5m.

A seventeen-year-old Nigerian teenager, Oluwafemi Ositade, has won fourteen scholarships worth $3.5 million to Harvard University and other universities around the world.

He received offers from top universities in the United States, including Canada and Qatar. Following his excellent SAT score of over 800 in Mathematics and a perfectly impressive score of 760 in English.The offer from Harvard University is worth $375,572, and Duke University worth $373,796. 

Ositade, a young teenager, completed his secondary school education at the Ambassador College in Ota local Government in Ogun state Nigeria. His academic brilliance was evident as he graduated with a CGPA of 4.0/4.0 and scored an impressive 358 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), making him the second-best student in Nigeria in 2023.

The student with the highest score that year was Kamsiyochukwu Umeh, who took the spotlight during the UTME examinations with a score of 360/400.

During the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations, Ositade also passed the exams with distinctions, he earned eight As and a B.

Ositade is an excellent candidate for all the universities he has applied to. His academic achievements has earned him over 14 scholarships in all the universities he applied to including Harvard University ($375,572), Brown University ($383,364), Duke University ($373,796), University of Toronto Lester B Pearson Scholarship ($365,980), Wesleyan University ($390,050), Carnegie Mellon University, Qatar ($354,344), and the University of Miami ($351,812),

Howard University ($236,912), Stetson University ($140,000), Fisk University ($145,152), University of Toronto Mississauga Campus ($12,000), University of Toronto St. George Campus ($50,000), University of Toronto Scarborough Campus ($125,000), and Drexel University ($207,600).

Ositade’s academic journey is driven by a deep passion for Computational Physics. His love for Mathematics and quantum computing is evident, making him a promising candidate for his chosen field of study.
