Nick Imudia, the former chief Executive Officer of Nigeria’s e-commerce giant, konga died by suicide.
Before the death of Imudia, he was the CEO of D.light , a leading innovator in residential solar energy solutions but it later reported that he took his own life in his apartment.
Imudia is a native of Ika south local government of Delta State, Nigeria. He is a divorcee who was once married to the mother of his only child and daughter. His ex-wife was also from the same local government as he was. But his marriage ended due to irreconcilable difference on their both ends.
Reports have it that he jumped off the balcony of his Lekki Lagos apartment. He took his life on Tuesday night, 25th June. Imudia before his death called his brother who stays abroad to ask him about the most proficient way to share his wealth if anything should happen to him.
He also did reach out to his young daughter who’s currently with his ex-wife to tell her that he will always be there for her, that she needs to look into the sky whenever she misses him. The daughter did understand where he was driving until his suicidal act.
All his family members, friends, and business associates are still in shock at how he took his own life and why he would take his own life. The prime cause of the suicide is still unknown as investigations are still ongoing.
