A Lecturer In Katsina was killed by bandits and His Children were also abducted.

Some Bandits killed a lecturer from the federal university of Dutsinma (FUDMA) in Katsina state 

The lecturer in question was the Head of Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension and Rural Development at the Federal university of Dutsinma(FUDMA).

After he was killed by Bandits, the bandits also abducted his children, Tiri Gyan and David.

During the early two hours of Tuesday morning, Dr. Tiri Gyan David was killed in an attack by Bandits.

Some eyewitness reported the incident to journalist on a telephone call that the attack happened at the lecturer’s house in Yarima Quarters, Low-Cost Estate, Dutsinma Local government areas Katsina state at 1:30 am.

He also stated that the bandits also entered the community with weapons, shooting guns and machetes to frighten the people. It was in the report that it was stated that the hoodlums also kidnapped two of the lecturer’s children.

The spokesman for the Katsina Police command Abubakar Sadiq, also confirmed the attack but promised to release a detailed statement about the matter soon.

Currently, it has been certain that Dutsinma Local government area is one of those local governments that are on the Frontline for frequent bandit attacks despite the efforts of the state government and even the security agencies to help restore peace and capture the hoodlums.
