US President Joe Biden and Former US President Donald Trump partook in a presidential debate on 27th June, for the 2024 election at CNN’s Studios in Atlanta Georgia.
President Biden tried to give reasons why he is too old for a second term in the white house while also delivering some personal insults to Donald Trump.
But Donald Trump didn’t take it lightly with Biden as he lashed out at him, saying that President Biden is both a failure to the economy of the country and the world stage.
Biden didn’t do well in responding to Donald Trump, his speech was inconsistent as he finally went out of words to say.
Because of Biden’s poor performance, sparked new concerns within his democratic Party which is now seeing Trump as fit for November’s election.
This debate was the first ever in history between a sitting president and a former president and both of them accused each other of making many leadership errors.
Former US President Trump and current President Biden were the first US presidents to be elected at an old age. But while they debated they both accused each other of being childish.
The ages of the presidents are Biden,81, and Trump, 78. They both didn’t shake hands when they walked into the CNN headquarters in Atlanta Georgia. They were both having a live session with no physical audience and their both microphones were muted as the other spoke.
Biden attacked Trump with well-rehearsed lines while trying to remind the citizens and viewers that Trump would be the first felon to be convicted in the white house.
“You have the morals of an alley cat,” Biden said.
But Trump, who is a very good reality TV presenter, spoke loudly and audibly as he gave a long list of so many complaints about Biden’s administration.
“I’m friends with a lot of people. They cannot believe what happened to the United States of America. We’re no longer respected,” Trump said.
Trump tried to destabilize Biden’s delivery statement at one point, “I don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
When Biden stopped by a Waffle House restaurant to get food after the debate with Donald Trump. Biden told reporters he had a sore throat but “I think we did well.”
