FRSC receives new sector commander for Akwa ibom state.

The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) has appointed Mr Edward Odiete as  the new sector Commander in Akwa ibom state. 

This information was announced by Paul James, the enlightenment and public relations officer on Wednesday in uyo, Akwa ibom state.

Edward Odiete will be taking over from Lasisi Ogundele who just retired. This appointment of the new sector commander is supposed to aid the effectiveness of the FRSC and enhance better performance in road traffic management. 

Paul James said: “Following the retirement of the former sector commander, Lasisi Ogundele, a new sector commander has been appointed for Akwa Ibom State.

“He is Corps Commander Edward Odiete who hails from Delta State. A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, he holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Law and was called to Nigerian Bar in 1994.

“He was head of litigation in the National Headquarters, and until his appointment, he was Corps Commander Special Duties, Operations Department, Abuja.”

Paul James also extended the thanks and appreciation from the former Sector commander, Lasisi Ogundele to the FRSC officers, the Akwa ibom state government, major stakeholders, and the people for their love and support throughout his service in Akwa ibom State.
