The United States Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris who is currently the vice president of the United States has officially revealed the identity of her running mate to be Mr.Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota. She made this announcement against the upcoming November presidential election.
Ms Kamala Harris made a post on her Twitter X account to announce the name of her running mate.
She wrote, “I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate. As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his. It’s great to have him on the team,”
In response to the post made by Ms Kamala Harris, Mr Tim Walz replied saying that, it’s such an honour for him and it is also an opportunity of a lifetime for him.
“I’m all in,” he said, “Vice President Harris is showing us the politics of what’s possible. It reminds me a bit of the first day of school. So, let’s get this done, folks!”
Ms Kamala Harris and her vice president nominee, Mr Tim Walz will be addressing an event soon in Philadelphia.
Let’s not forget that, Ms Kamala Harris became the leading candidate of the Democratic party after president Joe Biden discontinued the campaign.
