President Bola Tinubu can not stop Nigerians from protesting – Tinubu’s aide, Ngelale says.

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, has affirmed that not even the sitting president can stop the citizens from protesting on the 1st of August.

Ngelale said this during an interview program on Sunday with an interviewer called Femi Akande.

He had different concerns about the Tinubu government’s on the  peaceful protests planned for August 1-10.

He said  that the current governmebt administration does not want to “dominate ” Nigerians.

Ngelale said, “Let me be clear: we are not in office to dominate our people; we are here to serve them”.

He also said that nobody  in the administration “has the authority” to stop Nigerians from protesting.

“No one in our administration has the authority to deny Nigerians their right to peaceful protest,” Ngelale said.
